I am basically, self-taught, though I've always had artistic abilities; only a few years of formal art training, some 20 years ago, then I quit.

I started drawing again, about 7 years ago, for amusement. It was also at this time, I was battling a 'benign tremor' in my drawing hand, after a few years of trying to draw with a shaky hand, I switched. Some of my earlier drawings were started left and finished right.

I have always enjoyed viewing Fantasy artwork, mainly Frank Frazetta's, to the extent, that to sit down and attempt a drawing, no way! But, there was nothing else that held my interest and eventually the images started coming out.

Some of the images or characters come creeping into my head at night. While others develop from doodling; I put something on paper everyday, drawing is a continuing learning process. My imagination is alive and well.

I freely admit to not being a 'establish' artist in the publishing market, but since I put a web site on the internet, my name and work has been spreading to the tune of over 400 hits a day. I have met many wonderful people who truly enjoy viewing my work, I just may be one of the most popular 'unknown' artists' on-line.

I live in the area of Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, with my wife, Shirley and 2 Irish Setters.
