Diana
Elizabeth Stanley is a California born artist who not only has a great
artistic talent, but has always displayed powerful empathic abilities.
These, combined with family oral traditions of Lenni-Lennapi Native American
heritage, have given her a keen interest in the metaphysical and mystical
connections between man and nature. These themes are often represented
in Diana's artwork.
Diana has been a free-lance artist
for more than 30 years, and has had an interesting and varied career.
She has designed book covers, album covers, and created countless magazine
illustrations. While still in High School Diana won a scholarship
to the prestigious Los Angeles Art Center. Her early career had her
featured exclusively in the
Parkhurst
Art Galleries in Long Beach and San Pedro, California. Since
then, her fine oil paintings have hung in galleries all over the country,
including a show of wild life paintings at the Oakland Museum in California.
Some of the artist's past work includes:
-
THE
BRADFORD EXCHANGE: Two series of collectors' plates. ("Visions
of the Sacred" and "The Legend of the White Buffalo")

was commissioned to create the 1996 stamp offerings for The Marshall Islands

INCOLAY: Also
an accomplished sculptor, Diana created several designs for Incolay Stone
Collection, including Dia's
Dolphins.
-
GRAND DESIGN STUDIOS: Diana provided pre-production art and matte
